Marilyn is an artist and works for Love146, the non-profit I co-founded which combats child trafficking and cares for survivors. Tim is a middle school teacher. Both of them together work each day for the betterment of their community. The day of their engagement shoot brought an unexpected snow storm but that didn’t stop us. Marilyn designed a beautiful floral headpiece that I wanted to use in every photo but we also took part of the afternoon to cozy up and carry out their Sunday tradition of tea, coffee, books and art in bed. Normally, I post a ton of black and white photos because of their timeless quality but the colors Marilyn and Tim chose for their session were so delicious, romantic and timeless I couldn’t resist posting so much color.
